Leftovers Cowl

yarnphoria:

I absolutely loved making this project! It’s the Leftovers Cowl by Wendy Johnson. I dug out all of my purple, teal, and gray leftover yarn and numbered them. I ended up with 14 purples, 5 grays, and 9 teals. I made a color layout for the entire cowl.

Leftovers for Leftovers Cowl

I reduced the width of the cowl…

Looks great! I really dig the color scheme

I am so excited to finally share my newest design with you guys: the Halloween fair isle scarf!

Not only am I sharing this pattern for free on my blog, but I also created a pdf version for easy printing AND I compiled almost 2 hours of my favorite Halloween songs into a Spooky Stitching Playlist to keep you inspired while you knit!

Find it all here: http://siouxsiestitches.com/halloween-fair-isle-scarf/ ‎

knitandlit:

Currently knitting: I’m working on another pair of Halloween socks. The yarn is “Frankenweenie” from Dancing Dog Dyeworks and I’m using size 0 (2.00 mm) needles.

karenhurley:

Some of these are really clever!

Twitter Knitter took your warmest and wittiest yuletide tweets and turned them into messages knitted into scarves. They then took these scarves and distributed them to the cold folk around Camden.
